Foreign exhibitors to make a stand at show

German exports of plastics and rubber machinery to India during the period January to September 2008 amounted to EUR81 million, 77% higher than the previous year. The worldwide exports of plastics and rubber machines to India in 2007 was EUR316 million, 27.6% above the previous year. As such, Germany remains the foremost exporter of machines to India with a share of 22.6% of total exports, followed by China (20.6%). It is for this reason that the German pavilion at Plastindia, to be held from 4-9 February at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, will be one of the largest, occupying 1,959 sq m with 80 exhibitors.
