Unveiled at Chinaplas this year,Husky Injection Molding Systems's HyPET 90 is described as a flexible and cost-effective PET system featuring Flex Mold,which is a modular,low-cavity PET preform mould.It is ideal for preform and bottle producers using one machine for multiple applications that need to change moulds with minimal downtime.It is also said to benefit manufacturers producing a range of preforms with the same neck finish,but for different sized applications.Furthermore,Flex Mold meets the needs of low volume production,of between 5 to 30 million units/year,and allows converters to expand into new markets.
