New tyre building machine from VMI

Dutch company VMI has designed and built a completely new tyre building machine(TBM)that looks and operates quite differently from its previous 248 and 348 models.The new TBM,which builds car radial tyres from 13-24 in.rim sizes,is a two-drum machine that applies the single stage building process.Utilising a robot,the fully automatic Maxx combines a high level of flexibility with a higher output and a better green tyre quality,says VMI.
