Reuse of scrap tyres becoming a reality

US company Lehigh Technologies says its flagship PolyDyne rubber powder,which is made from natural and synthetic scrap rubber,can be used to manufacture new tyres,instead of being used just as a filler.The Department of Chemistry at Clemson University has verified the company's claims,thus offering PolyDyne as a viable alternative ingredient that can be used to make green tyres.
