Asia next stop for Lanxess

The chemical company is pursuing plans to expand its performance rubber business in Asia with a new butyl facility,reportedly the largest investment in its history.Possible sites being considered for the EUR400 million investment are in Singapore,Malaysia and Thailand and the plant is expected to come on stream in 2010.
