SABIC reinforces presence

As one of the world's ten largest petrochemical manufacturers and the fourth largest polymer producer,SABICs acquisition of Huntsman Petrochemicals(UK),for a purchase price of US700 million,will reinforce its presence in Europe.SABIC will also complete the construction of Huntsman's 400,000 tonnes/year LDPE plant in Wilton,Teeside at an investment cost of US150 million.
