A new report from AMI Consulting says that China will continue to be a major importer of PP,importing 5 million tonnes by 2010,despite more than 6 million tonnes of new capacity coming up in the country over the next four years.While for the last few years exports of products made from PP have been a massive driver of demand,now AMI predicts that the demand for PP will come from the domestic sector.The domestic demand will be accentuated by the growing affluence of consumers and demographic shifts towards urban living.
