摘要

The 50-50 joint venture company between BASF and Sinopec,BASF-YPC Co has started up a 600,000 tonne steam cracker as well as nine downstream plants at its Nanjing site in China.Developed at a cost of USus2.9 billion,the integrated site,which spans an area of 220 ha,will produce 1.7 million tonnes/year of chemicals and polymers using a gas-fired power plant.
