Consumer electronics products like air conditioners,TVs,refrigerators and washing machines may soon be manufactured from corn-based PLA.The breakthrough comes from Sharp Corporation that has developed a new technology that is able to blend PLA and waste plastics that have been recovered from scrap like PP and PS.
