Small machine producer Dr Boy says that over its 40-year history its priority has been on reducing energy use.This theme will be carried through in the sprueless processing in the four machines to be shown during the Fakuma.Since sprueless moulding eliminates the refinishing of parts as well as the regrinding and recycling of a sprue,Boy says that this results in energy savings.The German company's first solution was the hydraulically actuated needle shut-off nozzle it introduced in 1968.
