HDPE/PP growth propelled by Asia

The market growth of HDPE is expected to be driven by demand from Asia Pacific,said a recent report by Ceresana Research.The region's share of the global HDPE demand has risen by 4% over a period of seven years.China leads in terms of manufacturing capacity,followed by India,Japan and South Korea.HDPE producers are profiting not only from the growing Asian markets,even in relatively smaller countries like Malaysia,but also from export opportunities in North America and Western Europe.Furthermore,HDPE capacities in established countries are migrating to the Asian countries due to cost-effective production.
