Competition heats up in NR market

Thailand's strengthening baht has forced countries that import natural rubber(NR)from the country to switch to Indonesian suppliers instead,causing a slump in the world's largest rubber producing country's exports this year compared to 2006,according to a report issued by the Kasikorn Research Centre.Besides that the report says that Indonesia will overtake Thailand as the world's leading producer and exporter of NR in the coming years.
