The first processor in Southeast Asia to undertake the thixomoulding process,AB Technology is one of the more than 40 licensees worldwide that are using the technology(the rest of the licensees in the region are in Japan,China,Taiwan and South Korea)."It is growing exponentially and we expect double-digit growth next year,"said Kevin Pang,Executive Director of the family-owned business in Johor Bahru.The technology,which is licensed by US company Thixomat,caught Pang's eye when he was working in the country."I was planning to return to Malaysia and wanted to introduce something different to the company."
