Recyclable DVD makes debut

New York-based Flexplay Technologies in collaboration with GE Plastics has introduced a DVD that is similar to a conventional DVD except that it has a pre-set 48-hour viewing window, which commences after the disc is removed from its packaging. After this viewing window is completed the disc will no longer be readable by the DVD player and it can then be recycled.
