Fuel cells to power vehicles

Already some automotive manufacturers have adopted the hybrid technology,which is a combination of a conventional internal combustion engine and an electric motor.With an estimated number of 80,000 hybrid vehicles sold in 2003,this technology is said to save fuel and reduce emissions by up to 20%.But the challenge for automotive manufacturers is to introduce a zero emission vehicle and this will only be feasible from fuel cell technology.
