Teknor Apex has introduced flexible vinyl compounds for profiles that can be run at lower temperatures than the company's previous products of this type. The new products are said to enable extrusion processors to increase outputs by 15-20% while maintaining close tolerances and achieving smooth, gel-free surfaces.Typical processing temperatures for the compounds are around 300°F, compared with previous temperatures of 350°F.
