Japanese meet resin demands

With a global growth rate of 7% a year,ABS resin demand in China is forecasted to increase almost twofold from the current 270,000 tonnes/year to 480,000 tonnes by the year 2007. In view of this,Teijin Chemicals is constructing an ABS plant in Shanghai with the start-up expected in 2005.
