LG joint venture set to lift UK's PP sales

LG International plans to achieve sales of 20,000 tonnes of polypropylene in the UK market within two years, based on supplies from a new joint venture plant in the Middle East.The Korean company shares ownership of the new 340,000tpa plant in Oman with Omani Petrochemicals and is targeting European sales of up to 100,000tpa from its 250,000-300,000tpa share of the plant's output.
