Elkem to launch inorganic impact modifier for pipes

Norwegian comapny Elkem Materials will launch an inorganic impact modifier for the platics pipes industry at next week's Pipes 2002 conference, organised by European Plastics News and PRW. Sidistar T100 is an inorganic impact modifier based on amorphous siicon dioxide claimed to improve low temperature impact strength while increasing stiffness, improving surface quality and lifting output rates.
