Galloo expands French capacity

European recycler Galloo Plastics aims to expand the processing capacity at its plant in Halluin, northern France on the Belgian border, to 100,000 tpa by 2015. The firm, part of Belgian materials recycling company Group Galloo, planned to raise its production of recyclate compounds to 30,000 tpa by the end of this year. Its previous output of about 25,000 tpa has comprised mainly automotive polypropylene scrap, ABS from electrical goods and polyethylene and polystyrene household waste.
