New hybrid moulding technology and control refinements from Arburg

At K 2010, injection moulding machine manufacturer Arburg will highlight new operator guidance features in its Selogica control system. The Selogica Assistant is designed as a "quick and easy way to programme machine sequences", enabling central programming and control not just of the moulding sequence itself, but also of complete production systems, their associated peripherals, and six-axis robotic systems. There are menu-guided, supervised set-up or "teaching" functions for the mould sequence, says the company.
