High street retailers extend plastics recycling scheme

Pafa has welcomed the planned collection of clean plastic film, including bags, by some of the UK's leading high street retailers. The initiative, which is being led by the British Retail Consortium (BRC), is backed by Asda, the Co-op, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Tesco and Wait-rose. The aim is to recycling 645,000 tonnes of material per annum.
