摘要

The collection of techniques that formed the field of dynamic combinatorial chemistry (DCC) in the last two decades has already received considerable attention because of its successful use in identifying artificial re-ceptors, leads for protein ligands and catalysts. However, the elegant principles and concepts of DCC in the context of drug discovery, bioorganic chemistry and material sciences currently represent only niche components of these significantly evolving fields, at least outside academia.
