We read with great interest the article by Prado et al. entitled "Nonresective Shrinkage of the Septum and Fat Compartments of the Upper and Lower Eyelids: A Comparative Study with Carbon Dioxide Laser and Colorado Needle" (Plast. Reconstr. Surg. 117: 1725, 2006). The authors nicely describe and compare two new nonresective methods for managing the her-niated fat pads of the lower and upper lids
