Agram has recently completed a boiler maintenance project at the Sappi Enstra Mill in Springs, that will ensure efficient boiler fimction and reduced unplanned downtime at the paper production mill. "This project, which involved the removal of old and worn soot blowers and the installation of six new Agram Idris single nozzle direct hand wheel soot blowers, as well as the installation of wall boxes of the 40 T boiler, conforms with stringent safety and quality specifications, including ISO 9001 standards," says Arnold Retief, a director of Agram. "Robust materials, including Stainless Steel were used in the manufacture to ensure these soot blowers are able to withstand operation in extreme heat conditions."
