AIA 2007 Conference Seminar Focus on Green Building Research

Did you know that bad windows cost U.S. consumers more than 40 billion dollars every year in unneeded energy costs? Stephen Selkowitz of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory shared that statistic at the "Establishing a National Agenda for Green Building Research" seminar during the AIA Conference in San Antonio. The U.S. Green Building Council has partnered with the AIA Committee on the Environment to develop a national green building agenda and roadmap. The conference featured a panel discussion that focused on sustainable design, construction and operations.
