6th Annual Big Book of Lists

Each year, USGlass magazine invites glazing contractors across the country to be a part of our Annual Big Book of Lists. Each year the list shows some new additions, shifts in ranks and some names that disappear. As one might imagine, the sixth edition of this list saw significant differences compared to last year as glazing contractors saw reductions in new commercial construction across the country. It was hardly surprising when several companies said that they would not provide information for the 2010 Big Book of Lists, citing significantly lower sales numbers than last year. One respondent cited a "disastrous year," commenting that "there is no reason to respond because the numbers are so low." Compared to last year's data (see March 2009 USGlass, page 28), glazing contractors on our list have almost universally reduced their numbers of employees.
