Copolymers of 12-dodecanelactam with 2,4-toluylene diisocyanate and 1,6-hexamethylene diiso-cyanate were synthesized in the presence of sodium caprolactamate.It was shown that an increase in the amount of diisocyanates in the feed monomer mixture led to substantial enhancement of the strength and thermophys-ical characteristics of the copolyamides produced.
