An Unusual Complication of Laparoscopic Tenckhoff Catheter Insertion

Continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) is a widely accepted and effective method of renal repLace-menttherapy for end-stage renal disease. TheTenckhoff catheter can be inserted by open technique, percutane-ously with or without radiological assistance, and by Laparoscopic technique. Due to its cost-effectiveness, accurate placement, and minimal morbidity, Laparoscopic insertion has become more popular since its description in 1999. We describe an unusual complication of Laparoscopic Tenckhoff catheter insertion.
