Leverkusen, Germany — Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) has launched Insqin — a pure wa-terborne polyurethane system it claims represents a new generation of sustainable PU coated fabrics. In a press release, BMS described Insqin as a textile industry "game changer" and Nicholas Smith, global head of textile coating at BMS, said the innovation marked an "exciting and pivotal day for all textile-consuming industries."
