SIKA ACQUIRES UK MANUFACTURER OF ADHESIVES AND SEALANTS

Welwyn Garden City, UK - Adhesive and sealant maker Sika has acquired Everbuild Building Products Ltd, which it says is the UK's largest independent manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and construction chemicals. Leeds-based Everbuild makes adhesives and sealants, including those from polyurethane, and has annual sales of over CHF 90m ($97.5m). With a workforce of 270, the company runs a manufacturing facility for the full range of construction chemical products with laboratories and a logistic hub.
