BASF now marketing Slentite PU aerogel

Ludwigshafen, Germany - BASF is starting the market preparation phase for the launch of its Slentite polyurethane aerogel insulation material. This follows the commissioning of a pilot plant for the panels in Lemforde, Germany in June 2015. BASF said it is making a polyurethane aerogel into a heavy duty panel, which displays exceptional insulation performance.
