摘要

Biological thiols including cysteine (Cys), homocysteine (Hcy) and glutathione (GSH) play significant roles in redoxrelated biological processes.[1] Abnormal levels of Cys and Hcy are associated with a variety of human diseases such as slow growth,[2] liver damage,[2] skin lesions,[2] Alzheimers diseases,[3a] cardiovascular diseases[3a,b] and coronary heart diseases.[3c] Thus, the development of efficient methods for the detection and quantification of biological thiols under physiological conditions is of importance in both chemistry and meicine.
