Kingspan sales and profits up in the first half of 2014

Kingscourt, Ireland-Polyurethane insulated panel maker Kingspan announced revenue of ?889.3m ($1.17bn) for the first half of 2014-up 4% on the same period in 2013. The company's trading profit for the period to 30 June, 2014 was up 24% to ?69.2m, the company said in its latest financial report. EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax and depreciation and amortisation) were reported as ?88.9m, a 17% increase on the same period in 2013.
