India will consume 1g of polyurethane per capita by 2020, predicts Rahul Gautam, chairman of the Indian Polyurethane Association (IUA) and managing director of India's largest flexible foam producer Sheela Foam Pvt. Ltd. Describing this as a "very, very, very conservative" estimate, Gautam pointed out that this will mean consumption of "a whopping 1200 kilotonnes a year."
