BMS adds 50% more MDI

CAOJING,CHINA -Bayer Materials-Science AG is adding a further 120 kil-tonnes of capacity to the methylene diphenyl diisocyanate facility it is planning to build at the firm's Caojing chemicals complex in China.The move is part of plans by the German chemicals major to raise its global MDI capacity by about 40 percent-but won't happen until 2008.
