Arnco Corp. has significantly expanded its operation by forming a Performance Polymers Group that the company thinks could eventually increase its business twofold. The manufacturer of polyurethane elastomers and systems for puncture-proof microcellular tyres has established the unit at its 2500-m~2 South Gate plant, according to Larry Carapellotti, owner and president of Arnco. Creation of the unit has been in the works for the last year, he said, "because we wanted to build it right."
