Rangatira Ltd, a Wellington-based investment fund, has recently gained a 50-percent stake in Vita New Zealand Ltd. Rangatira is now running the firm in partnership with joint owners/managers, Mike Sexton and Richard Adams. With three large factories in Auckland, Upper Hutt and Christchurch, Vita NZ makes products based on urethane foam, polyester fibre and polystyrene beads.
