Siemens Eyes Russian Linkup After French Farewell

German engineering group Siemens favors establishing a part- nership with Russian nuclear group Atomenergoprom, if a successful divestment package can be struck with France's Areva. A spokesman for Siemens said the group's supervisory board met in Munich on Monday - ahead of the annual shareholders meeting on Tuesday - to discuss the future of the company's 34% stake in Areva Nuclear Power (Areva NP). The stake could potentially be worth in excess of ?2 billion ($2.6 billion).
