Representations of control systems in the Fliess algebra and in the algebra of nonlinear power moments

In this paper, we analyze a representation of affine nonlinear systems in the form of series of nonlinear power moments. A difference between such a representation and the representation as the Fliess series is caused by a difference in the structure of corresponding algebras. It leads to a difference between the conditions of realizability in the form of n-dimensional affine systems for these two types of series. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
