Standard treatment for pediatric germ cell tumors (GCTs) has evolved from that for adults (etoposide or vinblastine plus bleomycin and cisplatin). Conflicting data on high-dose cisplatin spurred two groups to jointly assess the efficacy and toxicity of cisplatin dose-intensification for high-risk pediatric GCTs.
