I would like to congratulate the authors on presenting their initial experience of 13 patients with robot-assisted intra-cor-poreal ileal conduit (RAICIC) with their novel technique called the "Marionette Technique." The "marionette stitch" was used to hold the bowel, which assists in the mobility of the ileal segment as required, while performing reconstruction. In outcome data, the difference in diversion time between RAICIC and extracorporeal ileal conduit (ECIC) was 159 vs 120 minutes; and mean estimated blood loss (EBL) was 454 mL for ECIC and 315 mL for RAICIC. Four of 13 (30%) patients had complications within a 3-month of follow-up period.
