摘要

The protection of the human and environmental health is one of the most important responsibilities of scientists and policy makers.One of the ways to accomplish this responsibility is also to reassure the citizens and operate in order to give them a correct information about risks to health.Frequently,this second point has been neglected,leaving to media and "Not governamental organizations"(NGOs)the information(not always correct or supported by scientific evidences)about the risks related to the exposure to chemicals.This hail of news has just the effects of confusing people about chemistry,making them unable to distinguish between advantages and risks.
