Removing mercury from flue gases. A demo plant based on injecting dusty sorbents

A comprehensive review, with 56 refs., of passive and active methods for removal of Hg from flue gases from coal-fired industrial boilers. Construction, operational parameters and research program of a new demonstration plant for Hg removal were presented.
