Three Al or MgAl-supported Ni or NiCe catalyst were prepd. by pptn. from aq. solns. of the resp. salts, studied for structures and used for reforming of the Ar-dild. MeH with CO2, at 550 degrees C under atm. pressure. The MgAlNi catalyst gave the highest conversions of MeH and CO2, (about 50%). A review, with 26 refs., of the catalysts used for MeH reforming was also included.
