Optimization of polyethylene waste utilization methods from disposable packaging

Four biodegradable and oxybiodegradable high d. polyethylene packegings were analyzed for elemental compn., content of fertilizing components (org. matter and minerals) as well as fuel properties (calorific value) and the contents of combustible, volatile matter and ash. Use of the wastes for energy recovery was recommended.
