The formate solutions as components of drilling fluids

摘要

Drilling muds were prepd. by dissoln. of K and Na formates, suspending CaCO3 and cellulose and starch-based thickeners in H2O and studied for d. (1.25-1.5 kg/L) and filtrability. The muds met the quality requirements and were recommended for practical use.
