Environmental effect of co-combustion of coal with wood waste in low-power boilers

Bituminous coal was blended with floor and door woodwork waste (1-10% by mass) and combusted to det. their environmental impact. The addn. of biomass resulted in a slight decrease in caloritic value of the fuel and in climate change, human toxicity, acidification and abiotic depletion impacts. It resulted however also in increase in entrophication and photo-oxidant formation impacts.
