摘要

Polish sub-bituminous coal and lignite were gasified both under ambient (up to 50 kPa) or elevated (1 MPa) over-pressures at below 900 degrees C or below 920 degrees C, resp., under pilot plant conditions. Air, O-2, CO2 and steam were used as gasifying agents in circulating fluidized-bed reactors. The beneficial effect of using CO2 as gasifying agent was confirmed. The results were used for prepg. a feasibility study and process design of a demonstration plant where coal gasification was integrated with combustion of char under oxy-combusition conditions.
