摘要

Phenol tar contg.mainly acetophenone,2-phenyl-2-propa-nol and a-methylstyrene dimers was distd.at 100 torr to collect(still:150->220 deg C,distillate:126->190 deg C)31-38% of a light fraction contg.these compds.and PhOH.The fraction was hydrogenated over a 15.7% Ni/AI_2O_3 catalyst at LHSV = 1.5 hr~(-1),400 deg C,and 3 MPa.The product was cumene 41%,ethylbenzene 39%,and unconverted PhOH 14%.The PhOH was either collected(65%,)as a distn.residue after the hydrogenizate was fractionated to collect 70% of a distillate contg.ethylbenzene and cumene or removed(down to 0.2%)by double extn.with aq.20% NaOH.PhOH is recyclable and the tar(35%)is a potential fuel component.
